Don't Forget About Supporting the United Way

The United Way has been there for millions of people over the years but is sometimes lost in the shuffle of 10 second media sound bites.  From the United Way's website "a woman, a priest, two ministers and a rabbi got together... "  No its not the start of a joke because in 1887 this small group recognized the need to work together in new ways to make their hometown of Denver a better place. Today the United Way is engaged in nearly 1,800 communities across more than 40 countries and territories. INVISTA of Orange hasn't forgotten about the great work this organization does and recently presented the United Way of Orange County, Ca with a $15,000 check to help the charitable agency bring its 2014-2015 campaign year to its conclusion.
