Two e-com developers.
We just recently found out that our own website structure, when it comes to being SEO-friendly, was a complete mess...
Had we had the basics down, those six years would've been compounding SEO benefits.
SEO is also a great way of getting traffic for free, something that should've sounded attractive to us, since we did and still are self-funding the business, AKA we are working within small financial constraints.
But we were fancy.
We had a podcast, vlog, blog, and all the other fancy things that most YouTube entrepreneurial gurus preach, while the pillar of our main tool, our e-com website, was weak.
Whatever your field of work might be, it might be valuable to consider whether you have the equivalent of our "SEO blind spot".
Don't be fancy. Get the basics down first.
