Don’t ever feel low when others doubt, you, your professionalism or your calibre because it is often about their own insecurities and not yours.

Whenever I think life has just got somewhat easier that’s when I am shaken up or pushed to my limits. It amazes me that some leaders think they know better than you, when they actually don’t know nothing about you, how you work how you functions, your strengths, what you need to build on and they never ask you how you are but they can make things really uncomfortable for you that you yourself will question your own integrity.?Sadly this is raw and real for me because this is exactly how I have been made to feel.?No one I mean no one should have to go through suffering in silence or having to internalise their bullying, oppressive behaviors that make one feel that they are experiencing domestic abuse and if one already has faced such adversity, challenges in life, imagine having to relive this and be impacted by the very leaders that should be nourishing and valuing their staff. ????????

I am a very confident and proud individual who does not shy away from working hard, grafting, going the extra mile for as long I am treated with dignity and respect and I really don’t care what your status is, speak to me in a manner that you would to your own family, people you speak to that are in your own cohort just because of your status and they have given you the power to whip people how you want to just remember you are also human being like me, status, power and control is only temporary and often people who think they are in power are the ones who are actually insecure but they love inflicting pain on others as it fuels their own insecurities.

How many times have we hear most leaders whether they are in public or private sector speak about work life and balance and take of self, sadly whether people actually practice this in real life is telling!?From my own exp in public sector it is usually 35, 36 hrs working week but I can’t even count how many of us work over and above hours, we don’t get paid extra, we get told take toil, reality is where do you find the time too because there is not enough bodies do so and the sad reality of a working life is that there is never enough hours to meet the competing demands of managing a work life and balance but if leaders showed empty or some gratitude I would not be high-lighting this issue its time someone spoke out, I want to bring about change, assertiveness, for a better work life and a balance for all.?Life is too short; everyone’s mental health and well being should be respected and valued no mater their status at work or where they work, we are human just like you! ???????????
