Don't Embarrass Yourself.......

Have you ever driven up to a fuel pump only to notice after you’ve parked that your fuel cap is on the other side? If so, you’re not alone, it happens to the best of us! Don’t fret for there is help, it’s called the “fuel arrow”, a tiny little arrow right beside the picture of the fuel pump, that tells you which side of your vehicle your fuel filler tube is on. Amazing isn’t it.

If your vehicle doesn’t have the arrow it’s possible the location of the fuel gauge on the instrument panel is directing you to the appropriate side e.g. on the right side of the instrument panel would imply the passenger side of the vehicle and vice versa for the left side. Check it out as some vehicles are equipped this way. Hopefully this tidbit will save you from ending up on the wrong side of the fuel pump!
