April's shaping up to be a whirlwind of activity over here, and I wanted to share some updates and opportunities that might interest you.

First off, I'm performing multiple shows each weekend this month (love it - details below), alongside four coaching gigs with both schools and youth organizations. It's a packed schedule, but the energy and creativity from these sessions are genuinely invigorating. To be able to not just share my own music, but also work with young people across the DC metro area to help them write their truth into songs? That's pretty freakin fulfilling if you ask me.

If you're considering bringing the YES Youth group coaching to your place, organization, school, or even workplace [I work with adults too!], I've got some slots open in May and June. Post that, don't forget I'll be hitting the road for the YES Youth Empowerment Tour starting July 7!!

jumps up and down excitedly

Speaking of which: ICYMI, this Friday, I'm teaming up with XCAL in Ashburn, VA, for a gala aimed at raising awareness and support for teen mental health - a cause that's close to my heart and more important than ever.

The funds raised aren't specifically to help with running the tour, however. Our aim is to raise funds for a documentary film that highlights the importance of using music and creative expression when it comes to navigating the mental health crisis among Gen Z worldwide. We're shopping the documentary to Netflix, and are so excited about it.

If you want to support the cause, come join us on Friday, or click here to make a direct contribution. :)

All this leads up to the Youth Empowerment tour this summer, which I'm incredibly pumped about. Here's the full breakdown of the tour schedule that will be covered within the documentary film too!

Later in the month, I'll be working with an organization to deliver a stress management program for those heading into high-conflict zones. It's fascinating how much of this ties back to the vocal training I've been doing for nearly two decades.

I'm also looking forward to an event with Kid Power DC at their 11th Taste the Garden event. Their work in empowering youth and promoting wellness is something I'm excited to support through my performance.

On a related note, my first solo single of 2024, "Harmony," is dropping at the end of the month. You can pre-save it here and join us for the release show at the end of the month.

Phewf! Yep. There's a lot going on this month, which is why I wanted to pop into your inbox today to quickly remind you about the importance of staying focused on your goals, and ignoring as many distractions as possible. Especially when it comes to the nay-sayers in your life. After all, the world is full of people who are going to doubt how you're going to do something... then they'll be sitting back scratching their heads wondering how the heck you did it once it's done.

Big thanks to my team and to YOU for the support. It's crucial to stay focused amidst the hustle and to choose the energy and community that aligns with our mission.

Looking forward to what we can create together this month.

Have an amazing day on purpose,

Emma G
