Don't die before you're dead

Don't die before you're dead

Yup, I know that is a pretty somber subject line for this post. I recently sent out a mailing to my list, and found that it resonated, so I'm posting it again here.

“Don’t die before you’re dead” is a line from my TEDx Talk in 2013. But I am using it today because—especially in these troubled times—I wanted to get your attention to share something that I know could change your life, as it has mine.

19 years ago this week (3/11/2001), I was involved in a horrific car wreck that nearly took my father’s life. And while recovering from small injuries, I listened as my father fought for his life in the next room—eventually recovering against all odds.

While supine within that intensive care unit, my mind kept going back to the words he had said to me when he regained consciousness, pinned within the twisted wreckage:

Are … we … dead?

And a few days later, around his breathing tubes, he slowly mouthed to me the words:

We … are … alive.

Those six words immediately changed my life in a profound and lasting way. It was time to work towards making a real and meaningful difference, and that’s what I’ve done over 19 years since.

But now, I realize that this is not enough … that I have more to do, more lives to impact, and more life to live.

I sought out advice from an old friend and colleague, whose motto is: “I am not finished.” And we have created something that could change your life as it has ours.

Finally writing the book …

I have worked over the past two decades with thousands of entrepreneurs, leaders, speakers, trainers, executive coaches, and celebrities, on writing “their” book. Each of them has a deep need to tell their story. They believe their book will make a difference in other people’s lives. Someone has told them, “You should write a book about your experience.”

While the authors I’ve worked with finish their books and up-level their authority and platform, hundreds of thousands of others—likely millions—never finish.

They start out strong.

They are dedicated.

They write daily.

But they never finish.

I have worked recently to create a powerful program that helps people who want to write a book that makes a difference (but don't know how) complete their book in just 8 weeks, from blank page to finished manuscript.

If you are tired of failing to finish your book — or just ready to try something new — schedule a short introductory call with me personally below, and I will share the details of this special offer, and we can go from there.

No pressure, no pitch, no webinar — just you and me, chatting about your book.

Fair enough?

Let's talk about your book.
