There are moments when we just want to give up and walk away from whatever it is that is causing us frustration or pain. I'm here to tell you that if there's one thing I've learned in life, it's this: don't ever give up on yourself!?
You might not be able to control everything that happens around you, but what you can control is how you react to it. So if something doesn't work out like you want it to, then start again with something small and keep going until you get where you want to be! Success in life may come in abundance at times, but, for most it is a slow build with endless failures. When I started doing health and life insurance, I can’t tell you how many times I failed. I just know that I have my goals and nothing will stop me from achieving them. The most important thing is to never give up on the goal you are chasing after.
Here are 3 tips to help you stay motivated:
Get your mental health in check?
The first thing we want you to do is block out negativity and focus on what keeps you motivated. When you're feeling down or unmotivated, try writing down all the things that make you feel good and happy about yourself. You can also look at photos from happy times or listen to music that makes you feel good about yourself. The more positive energy you put into the universe, the better it will flow back toward you! This goes for personal and professional relationships; sometimes you have to get away and take a break. There is no shame in taking care of yourself, but just make sure you have things in order so you don’t come back to a heap of trouble. In order to protect your mental health, you have to block out the negativity. You can make it through anything—you just have to be willing to put in the work mentally and physically.
Set goals and then start small
Don't expect too much from yourself right away! You can set yourself up for failure by trying too much at once, and it can discourage you from working toward your goals. Keep it simple, take one step at a time, and celebrate every success along the way. One of the best ways to solve problems, I believe,? is by working backwards from the end result: what do you want? What would it take for you to get there? Then break down each step into manageable chunks, working backwards all the way from where you are now until you reach that final goal. As much as we would like for things to happen right away, it takes time to build a brand, agency, recognition, and all the things we want from a successful life. Just make sure that whatever goal you set is realistic and achievable, while still being challenging, so that when you accomplish it, YOU FEEL LIKE YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!

When things are going good, don’t forget you can always do more.
The one thing my mentor drilled into me is that when you feel like you're on top, you can also be an easy target or it will be easy for you to feel comfortable. My advice to anyone who is in sales or a field where you are trying to level up (everyone); keep pushing to get another sale or keep pushing yourself to do tasks that no one else wants to. Eventually, sooner rather than later, someone will notice the accomplishments and advancements you have made in your workplace.?
If you're keeping up with your goals and feeling great about yourself, go ahead and treat yourself to something special, whether that means buying yourself that fancy new purse or treating yourself to sushi for dinner tonight, instead of pizza (I'm giving you permission). You deserve it! On the path to success, it is important to acknowledge the little achievements. It is equally as important to keep pushing when things are just getting good.?
My tips aren’t full proof, and they might not work for everyone. However, I always say it doesn’t hurt to try new things. Pick one of my tips and see if it changes the way you feel when things aren’t going right. Some of my coworkers call me Dr. Phil because I love to listen but, more importantly, I love to see people succeed at the things they want in life. Block out all of those negative people who say things like "that'll never work" or "you're too young / old / inexperienced / etc." YOU GOT THIS!!!!
