Don't Blink...

I can hardly believe that in 6 days I will officially celebrate my 11 year work anniversary at IBM. Where did the time go?

In that time I have seen many faces, wore a lot of different hats, learned more then I thought possible and made friendships that will last a lifetime! My hope is that I have made a positive impact on some of their lives as well. ??

All this reminiscing got me thinking... I am not sure what 2017 has in store for me but if I could offer advise to my younger self it would be this....

1. Don't blink! (just kidding) But in all seriousness time flies, so enjoy every minute (even the tough times and late nights).

2. Lifetime careers are no longer the norm so take risks, step outside of your comfort zone, fail often and learn quickly!

3. Your colleagues really do become part of your family...choose wisely and keep them close.
