Don't blame people for not performing

People are not the most critical asset, the right people are! I borrowed this? from Jim Collin..To support this assertion, Marcie (2003), states that employees and workers are the brain work of any organization thus, training should be designed to engage and support the optimum contribution of employees towards productivity.

The challenges of learning new skills in recent times would enable employees who are open to training to convert professional training into the art of money making, that’ll help your organization prosper.

The goal of it is to improve someone's proficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency in performing a task or set of tasks. Training helps one grow in the desired direction, which directly helps the organization. Similarly, Marcouse (2003), claims that training aids in improving professional qualifications and skill levels.

But how would you identify, if your people need upskilling?

  • Promoting seems to be a struggle for you.
  • Is the goal? to reduce costs?
  • Is Morale among employees is low
  • You are losing ground to your competitors
  • You want your team to take accountability.

Did you see one or some of the signs above in your company? If yes, then it’s time for you to upskill your workforce!

The majority of organizations fail to realize, however, that traditional applications are playing a smaller role, particularly at lower levels, as new skills and professions emerge, several of which can provide excellent opportunities for employers if they are able to meet the demands of complex interactions and new knowledge. If employers fail to provide continuous training and development to their employees, the workplace would become a haven of dependency.

In conclusion, this article has discussed various opinions of the different authors on personnel training and development. It further seeks redress with challenges that differ from organization to organization, and so does the training.

Learn 360 is a pioneer in understanding your challenges and objectives and dose not deliver just training but solution-based training. However, it should be noted that complex problems require complex solutions, including an assembly of skills and specialization. It is obvious that training of the future will subsequently be different from the training of the present. Consequently, the role of training and development in the future will be profoundly affected if training is not continuous.?

Thus, if you fail to train employees don’t blame them!
