Don't accept what is given to YOU

Today, I'm going to share the biggest traits of Champions which makes them who they are. 

Champions are people like us, they are no different.

They live in the same city or country. They don't get different environment than us. They get access to same education. They have the same kind of problems that we have in our life. but what separate the champions from mediocre people.

They refuse to accept the reality. They refuse to accept the situations given to them.

I will share an incident which had changed my life in a huge way. When I was working as an engineer with an MNC, I felt stuck and was not growing after working for many years. I thought let's apply for a project management position. soon I found that one of the managers who was known to me had an open vacancy in his team as a Project Manager. I applied for it.

To my shock, I was rejected. I thought let me go and ask the manager but I was told that there is no point, he has already closed the position. I was in no mood to give up. I thought "I'm fit to become a Project Manager let me go and ask the reason why I'm rejected"

I went and asked the manager. He could not tolerate that someone is questioning his decision. He was angry and said something which no one said before. He said "Do you know how you walk" and "How you talk. you are not fit to be a Project Manager". That was insulting. I felt very bad but I didn't speak a word.

Went home and instead of blaming him and getting angry I started questioning myself. "What I can learn from this situation" the next question was "What should I do now". I slowly started getting clarity. I decided that from now on. I will never live a reactive life, I will be always proactive. I'm 100 percent responsible for my life. 

This incident was life-changing for me. from that moment I started taking control of my life. What if I had decided not to confront the manager. I would not have taken control of my life and would not have become what I'm today.

Are you facing similar situations in your life where you are being told that you are not good enough. You cannot do this. You don't have talent or experience . You are being denied the opportunities.

I want to tell you one thing that you are Unique.  Don't accept the situations, Confront them. Discover what unique talents you have. Don't allow anyone to dictate what you can do and cannot do. You have the Power to Change your Life and be a Champion. Please Please Please Don't Give Up.
