In 2021, I discovered a work that not only brought me happiness but also a sense of purpose. I was seeking a career that would make me content, even if not extremely wealthy. Luckily, I found a fulfilling path that not only provides joy but also financial satisfaction.
Right from the start, I had the freedom to choose my path, but I wasn't sure about my desires. Like many, I entered a rat race and pursued an MBA. After that, I entered the corporate world but didn't find happiness in those pursuits. On the other hand, my younger sibling always had a clear creative vision. He embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at just 16, and thankfully, our parents supported our choices without hesitation. We were fortunate not to encounter obstacles when seeking our parents' approval.
By 2020 I was in my job and in 2021 I took a content writing course and it changed my life forever. Although I didn't begin earning instantly, the joy and satisfaction I derived from my work are indescribable.
I recently finished reading "The Alchemist," I recommend it to everyone, especially those who sometimes feel like they should have followed the rat race because it's safe. This book is for you if you've found purpose and happiness in your pursuits. By reading it, you'll realize you're on the right path. Even if you feel lost or uncertain about your life goals, this book can help you find the answers you're seeking.
Upon finishing the book, I became confident that I was meant for this unique and creative path. The book mainly focuses on recognizing your inner calling. Often, we overlook the signs from a higher power that guide us toward our purpose. Yet, when we finally realize it, immense happiness follows. Only a few among the thousands truly realize their true calling, and I'm grateful to belong to that group. My words carry a broader significance beyond just work, but i am discussing work because most people feel peaceful and at ease when they discover their passion.
Looking at the practical aspect, we're in an era of more work options and adaptability. We're not tied to a single job for our whole lives, hoping for a chance to relocate. Instead, we can freely pursue our interests and find work that's meaningful and matches our values and dreams.
Each of us has unique skills, things we love, and dreams that are ready to be uncovered. When we reject doing what we "should" and instead chase after fulfilling work, we give ourselves the power to shape lives that are meaningful, joyful, and satisfying.
So, let's uncover our true desires and hold onto them wholeheartedly. Let's avoid getting caught up in society's expectations and concentrate on finding the unique routes to our own happiness.?
Today, a growing number of individuals are choosing fulfilling careers, moving away from the conventional path. Yet, they remain only a few among many.
So, are we all joining the "should train"? No, thank you.

I asked my fellow creator Ananya Sinha to add her perspective on the topic.
Ananya shares:
"Choose what you like even if takes a bit longer time because even Rome wasn't built in a day.
People might not support you initially but does that matter?
It shouldn't actually. Those who don't support unconventional decisions won't ever check on you even if you fail in normal situations.
Take charge of your life because it's only you who can analyze situations and react accordingly rest are only viewers.
And you already know that even "Google Docs" doesn't allow "viewers" to add any comments or edit the write-up, so how could you let viewers decide your career?
Leave the idea of "this should be a much more secure or better option", choose what your heart says, and chase it so hard that it comes to you."
That's all for today's edition I will come back again on 12th of the next month.

1 年No one knows the end of their destination but the journey is always there. Love it, enjoy it and learn through it. Because once you arrive, people would see what you are and not what you were. This is my take way from the Alchemist.
