Dons of Pap High

Papatoetoe High School was a microcosm of society, a place where friendships were forged, rivalries ignited, and secrets kept. Among the bustling hallways and crowded classrooms, two unlikely figures had carved out a niche for themselves: the Dons of Pap High.

Sam and Fred were an odd pair. Sam, the brainy one, was always nose deep in books. Fred, on the other hand, was the athletic type, excelling in sports and always ready for a challenge. Despite their differences, they shared a knack for mischief and a thirst for adventure.

Their racket began innocently enough. One day, Fred, having overslept, found himself facing a particularly dreadful chemistry class. Desperate to avoid the lecture, he asked Sam for help. Sam, ever the problem solver, suggested a plan. He forged a sick pass, complete with a convincing doctor's signature. Fred used it to skip the class, and to his delight, it worked.

Word of Sam and Fred's "sick pass service" spread like wildfire. Soon, students from all corners of the school were lining up to pay a small fee for a forged excuse. The Dons, with their growing clientele, became the go-to guys for anyone looking to ditch a boring class or pursue a more enjoyable activity.

With their newfound wealth, Sam and Fred expanded their offerings. Students could now request passes for specific activities, such as bowling, tennis, or even trips to the movies. The Dons, always eager to please, ensured that their clients were satisfied.

However, as their racket grew, so did the risks. The school administration was not oblivious to the sudden surge in absences. Suspicions were starting to arise. Sam and Fred knew they had to tread carefully, ensuring that their services remained undetected.

One day, a particularly daring student approached them with a request: a pass to skip a week of school. Sam and Fred, caught in the thrill of their success, agreed. Little did they know that this would be their downfall. The school administration, tipped off by an anonymous source, launched an investigation.

As ever so mischievous souls, Sam and Fred smelled a rat. They knew it was time to fold and run. "Yeah, nah, bro, thanks for the proposition, but we had our fire sale last week," Sam replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "We've never done that sort of business", Exclaimed Fred in tongue and cheek. Yet, despite the short run, they couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. Their time as the Dons of Pap High had been an adventure, a memory they would cherish for years to come.
