T. Donovan Creative - "Serving Those that Serve the World"!

This past week, June 5-7, the T. Donovan Creative (T. DC) team worked with our client, H-E-B Operation Appreciation, in serving our Veteran community. H-E-B reports that "Partners, suppliers, and nonprofits gathered in San Antonio for the annual H-E-B Tournament of Champions and H-E-B Operation Appreciation event, which includes a day-of-service that’s among the largest one-day volunteer effort in the city of San Antonio".

During this weeklong event, H-E-B Operation Appreciation and their partner, Homes for Our Troops, provide two fully furnished mortgage free homes to severely injured post-9/11 Veterans and their families. Every home is specially adapted to make them more accessible with finishes such as wider hallways, lower countertops, automatic doors, and roll-in showers. H-E-B stocks the home with food, supplies and fully furnishes each veteran home.

This year’s home recipients are:

• Army Sergeant Jose Lopez who sustained injuries, including burns to more than 30 percent of his body, during deployment to Afghanistan in 2007.

• Army Major Yancy Baer who sustained multiple injuries while serving with the 10th Special Forces Group during his fourth tour in Iraq in 2009.

T. DC is honored to give back a small token of gratitude to our Veterans and their families that have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom and way of life. We owe you a debt that can never be repaid!
