Donor Relationships That Last
?? Maryanne Dersch
Master the art of influence and raise more money without feeling rejected or pushy!
I hear this a lot: "We need to find people with money." Or, "I am not sure if they would be good supporters because they don't have money."
When we put the money before the relationship, fundraising becomes at best disingenuous, and at worst, manipulative.
That doesn't mean we neglect stakeholder identification and prospect research. What it does mean is we get to know people for who they truly are, not just what they have.?
In this week's episode of The Influential Nonprofit, Sandy Rees stops by to talk about building donor relationships that last. Sandy is the chief do-gooder and Founder of Get Fully Funded.
For nearly 20 years, she has helped hundreds of small nonprofits go from “spaghetti-on-the-wall, nickel-and-dime” fundraising, to achieving 6 or 7-figure bottom-line results.
Using a proven process, Sandy shares how to find ideal donors, and then connect and build genuine, long-term relationships.
“Relationships are built on trust, then one of the most important things that any fundraiser can do is to be purposeful about building trust with donors.”
In case no one has told you yet today, you are awesome!

2 个月I believe that you might be the person that I need to talk to about getting free insulation, so I can start putting insulation in anybody's house that is receiving energy assistance from the social service program. If we can get that money into a grant then the social service can allocated that money towards insulation they would get the credit! I don't need the credit except for a small portion of it at the end of the year. I'm basically wanting to work for free for the rest of my life. As long as I know that the miners that are mining the raw material and their labor is not going to waste. I want to know that their death experiences were not in vain. Mining raw material is dangerous. Houses that have zero insulation that are inhabited by people that are in a polished situation can never really get themselves out of the situation with a $600 light bill when it should really be 75 to about 145 dollars a month instead they're paying 600 a month. We can stop all of this, if I can just find the insulation for free to install it for free. *It must be free*Im excellent at installing insulating. There is no company out there that is willing to take this arduous task on. I'm willing. It will not work if it has a charge it must be free.
