?? In the past week, we saw 10 deals in Europe for a total amount of €53.6m raised

With three deals in the UK, two deals in Denmark, one deal in Spain, Sweden, France, The Netherlands, and Lithuania.

?? NEWS HIGHLIGHT

The raise, which is expected to be finalised by the end of 2023, would value Monzo at more than £3.5bn according to the report.


?? M&As

Shift4 Payments has received the final green light to complete its long-pursued $525M acquisition of Finaro, an Israeli-based payment service provider with a strong presence in Europe and China.

Youtility has been acquired by American insurance price comparison service Squeeze. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Equation is announcing its acquisition of VC fundraising software startup Betterfront Technologies. Both companies are based in Munich and declined to share details of the acquisition.

UK ????

Ctrl Alt, a fintech offering software for investment platforms to provide alternative assets, has raised £2.2m in seed funding.

Kota has raised €5m in seed funding to help companies manage employee benefits.

Multifi has secured £10m of loan capital. The cash comes from Fasanara Capital and will be used to offer credit facilities to SMEs of up to £200,000 with a fixed monthly access fee of 0.3 per cent.

USA ????

Prism Data, the US open banking outfit that span out from Petal earlier this year, has raised $5 million in seed funding.

Credit Genie announced the successful completion of an additional funding round, securing $10 million in capital, bringing its total financing to $21 million.

Flourish Ventures has secured $350 million in fresh capital.

LATAM

R5 has secured an investment deal spearheaded by the UK-based fund Lendable. This capital injection aims to boost R5's ability to offer credits for purchasing used cars, allowing more individuals to access vehicles through loans.

ASIA

YouTrip, the provider of a multi-currency digital wallet in Singapore, has raised $50 million Series B financing.
