Last week 12 FinTech deals were made in Europe for a total of €54.8m raised, with three deals in the UK, France, and Germany, two in Switzerland, and one in Sweden. Subsector-wise, most deals were in Banktech (4) and Payments (3), followed by Investment Banking and Crypto with one deal each.

Stripe raised a huge funding round of $6.5bn. The company was previously valued at $95bn when in 2021 it last raised funding through a $600m Series H round. This latest cash injection came at a $50bn valuation, meaning the company has now officially opted for a so-called ‘down round’.
Stripe also clocked up a new partnership with OpenAI, the owner of ChatGPT, which this week announced its latest product ChatGPT 4.

Parker emerged from stealth Thursday with $157 million in equity and debt funding, much of which closed in 2022.
The company touts itself as “the first charge card for e-commerce” with raised limits that are on average 10 to 20 times higher than traditional business credit cards, like CapitalOne, American Express and Brex.

InVance Capital assisted ZipZero in securing £1m of funding from their private investor network. The company already has more than 100,000 users in the UK. Many large retailers, including Asda, Boots, Ebay, and Sainsbury's, partnered with Zipzero.
EUROPE ????
Cashlink Technologies announced the closing of its mid-seven-digit Series A fundraising round led by TX Ventures. The round was joined by Futury Capital, BMH Hessen, business angels, and others.
USA ????
Stripe is raising $6 billion to resolve taxes & expiring employee shares, delaying Public Listing. Venture capital firms Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Andreessen Horowitz, and Founders Fund are participating in the round.
Sezzle announced its intent to list its shares of common stock for trading on the Nasdaq Global Market.
LATAM
Mattilda raised a $10M credit line from Addem Capital. Mattilda is a SaaS platform that helps schools manage and automate payments and offers credit solutions.
ASIA
Web3 secures $3m. The GrowHub is a Web3 platform whose main business focus is on food traceability and carbon credits.
Cubist scored $7m in a seed funding round headed by Polychain Capital. Also taking part in the funding round were Amplify Partners, dao5, Blizzard, Axelar and Polygon.
MIDDLE EAST
Sav announced the successful closure of its pre-seed funding round, raising USD 750,000 in capital. Sav is part of the prestigious Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund's (MBRIF) Innovation Accelerator program.?
