Donald Trump carried off stage, rushed from scene by Secret Service following reports of gunshots at campaign rally

Donald Trump has been evacuated from a campaign rally in Pennsylvania after reports of gunshots, with Secret Service agents carrying the former president from the stage.

In dramatic scenes, the former president appeared to grab his ear and stagger before agents rushed the stage and protected Trump while they rushed him from the stage.

The former president was immediately taken to a car and driven away.

Some reports claimed smoke was seen coming from somewhere to the front of the crowd, while it has also been reported federal and state authorities proceeded to enter the crowd with guns drawn as they searched for a shooter.
