Domestic Violence Among LGBTQ Community

According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence in 2020, more than 10 million adults per year experience domestic violence in the United States.?

Domestic violence is not limited to heterosexual relationships. In fact, domestic violence is prevalent in every community and affects people regardless of socio-economic status, race, religion, nationality, gender, or sexual orientation.?Within the LGBTQ community, domestic violence occurs at a rate equal to or even higher than the U.S general population.?
