Arty-Fact: In 2008 Banksy created a street art festival held in a disused road tunnel (Leake Street) underneath Waterloo Station in South London. The project was called the Cans Festival.
Banksy messaged about 40 street artists globally inviting them to participate. Among them was Dolk. The objective was simple: turn a "neglected hell hole into an oasis of beautiful art”.
‘Paint Brush Girl’ was one of a number of images painted by Dolk. A limited edition silkscreen print was released in October 2008 which sold out in just over a week.

Arty-Fact: As Norway’s most distinguished graffiti artist, Dolk’s work can be seen adorning walls throughout Europe. Since 2006, Dolk has moved some of his pieces into galleries whilst continuing to work on streets throughout the world.

Arty-Fact: Dolk (Norwegian for dagger/knife), is widely recognised as Norway's preeminent graffiti artist and has rapidly gained popularity since emerging on the scene. He uses his artwork to explore pop-cultural references in humorous or critical contexts. "Pig Mask" is an excellent example of his sharp and intelligent wit.
Dolk lists amongst his hobbies "sex, sex and vandalism."
