Doing Your Holy Work

April is National Poetry Month in the U.S. and this month I’m sharing poems from my collection Finding Love Everywhere - featuring 67 ? Wisdom Poems to Help You Be the Love You are Looking for.

This week I’m writing the next instalment in my new book which is a meditation on living your purpose. The poem I have chosen is a call to each of us to remember our pre-birth intention (as Rudolf Steiner named it), to be a loving presence in the world, to do our holy work here on Earth.

LOVE IS GRAVITY

Love is gravity.

It brings you down to

Earth.

You did not fall.

You were sent.

You chose to be here.

You gave your consent.

Love brings you down

From your head,

Into your heart and

into your hips.

Love helps you take your

place in this world.

To find your feet.

To stand upright

on solid ground.

Love stops you floating off.

So that you can be here.

In the low places.

Doing your holy work.

An undercover Love Agent.

The Presence of Love.

You’re here to ensure

that there is nowhere

where love is not.

What does saying YES to living your life’s purpose look like today?

I wish you a beautiful day.
