Doing what we can!

We are in unprecedented times, as we face what surely will be the greatest challenge of our generation. Challenges of this size require collaboration, innovation and coordination in equal measure. When we heard about RapidWard’s mission, we were inspired and compelled to do everything we could to help. 

A little over a week ago we were approached by Rapidward, an Australian not-for-profit organisation to become their payments processing partner. Rapidward is quickly becoming a key player in the fight against COVID-19 by solving major supply chain issues for surgical and N95 masks, hazmat suits and crucially the 15-minute antibody test. Founded by Milton Zhou, an entrepreneur based in Sydney, Rapidward aims to supply governments and healthcare providers with efficient distribution of equipment where it is currently difficult to source. 

As a not-for-profit organisation, Rapidward is passing on cost-pricing to its customers. Its small team have put their day jobs on hold to play their part in this fight against the virus. I’m pleased to be able to support such an important organisation as they go to market by providing payment processing for their e-commerce site and by waiving all our fees. I’m also incredibly proud of the Checkout.com team who have worked around the clock to have RapidWard live in lightning time. As many of you know, this is not an easy undertaking but we value uniting behind a cause to get the job done. 

We want to do our part to support the hard-working teams who are coming together to tackle this virus.
