How true!
Put another way, integrity is all about doing what’s right – even if no-one is watching.
Our values of honesty, openness and transparency flow through all the decisions we make for our clients, our employees and for our business. They set out how we communicate with others and with?each other.
In the third of five articles about our company culture, we look at what integrity means to us.
We operate with integrity in everything we do
It’s an inescapable fact that things will go wrong from time to time. In the world of logistics and freight?forwarding, the best-laid plans can be thwarted by freak weather conditions, transport breakdowns or?industrial action. What sets people and businesses apart is how they react when a plan falls through.
In the case of Lobina, we work tirelessly to secure the best possible outcome for a client when things?don’t go as expected. This goes back to treating people how we would want to be treated.
No-one would choose to work with someone who is going to bury their head in the sand when the going?gets tough. Ignoring issues only make things worse.
We always offer multiple options and we have back-up plans for the times when things don’t run?smoothly. Our team will move heaven and earth to leave our customers happy, even if things have not gone as expected. We never give up and we never accept defeat. There’s no such thing in Lobina’s book?as a lost cause.
The key part in all this is keeping the lines of communication open and being honest and fair with our?suppliers and our clients – and of course our own staff. It’s essential that we work hard to look after our?own employees and to treat them honourably and give them support and help when they need it.
Our customer service and communication is consistently world class and we never rest on our laurels. At?the root of every interaction with a customer are the values of honesty, integrity and a passion to do the?best job possible.
