Doing the Undoable

Doing the Undoable

Yes, it's Undoable, I don't know if it’s even a word. But before you start judging my writing skills, sit back, relax and put the microscope aside, now just enjoy its roughness.

There are many things Undoable in our life. Starting from maybe as small as, not skipping tiles on a black-white pattern. I still can't step on black tiles if there is an option that I can skip them. To as big as accepting my mistake, yes, it's a big thing. Our ego is always bigger than us. Regardless of how humble we think we are.

One of them is, and I want to focus this one specifically in this article, Speaking in Front of Crowd, addressing the mass. It's a huge "Undoable". Most of us are scared of speaking to the people out of our private circle. But it's important that we do this "Undoable". let's think of a few reasons, maybe its cultural, it could be once nature, or maybe upbringing in a confined space, could unconscious bullying by people around us. Whatever the reasons are, we all need to do this. We need to break this shell, come out and shine. It’s very important in day to day life, but it’s even more important in our professional lives.

No, I can't do this, yes that's what we all think.

Let me tell you a story of a boy from a remote village in Pakistan. He never thought he could speak his mind. You know why? He was always told he is wrong whenever he speaks; He never had enough words in his language bag. He spent 30 years under this impression but, one day he did come out. Why? Because he was forced to. How? Baby steps, one at a time. First, he worked on his language skills. Second he surrounded his self with the people how would tell him he is wrong in private but support him in public. Who appreciate his ideas. Yes, not all the ideas were great and not all the words were correct. You cannot say to a lady I am not going to seduce you when you actually want to say you I am not going to force you to do something. That is just wrong, but every mistake he made he learned. Days passed and eventually, he became the star of the debate. The focus of the conversation. His mistakes never stopped him; his blunders never pushed him back into his shell. Yes, sometimes you will speak more then you should, maybe you will say things you might even regret. But you know what you will regret more? You will regret all the things you wanted to say but never said.

Speak up, throughout your ideas, surround yourself with people who actually care for you, and never stop shining. This life is short and this world needs your ideas. Make it a better place to live for others by expressing.

This is my first article; I am planning to start a series under the title of "Doing the Undoable". Tell me what I did wrong I am open to learning and you will become part of my little circle. But don't shame me in front of the public. Because you can't push me back, but sure you are no longer part of my little circle.

Let’s help each other improve and grow, let's make this world better a place.
