Total knee arthroplasty hiccup. The surgeon had prepared for the procedure with a different vendor’s implant system than what was available. While initially taken aback, the surgeon simply shrugged, performed the surgery, and was very pleased with the outcome.

This situation amplifies the similarity of systems that address the same indications from different vendors.?At the crux of each system lies a technique and device they all share.
