I've been supporting Teesside Hospice for some time now but months ago I committed to support them a bit further by actually doing something! I promised to swim 5k in the Great North swim plus run the Great North run. I did the swim in June (which is the easy bit for me) but I've never ran in my life so half a marathon is a bit daunting, but fingers crossed I'm ready & hopefully can do sub two hours on sunday the 8th with my personal coach Paula!
