Doing Business Responsibly

Today, Amgen published our annual Responsibility Highlights Report, which captures the many ways in which we are contributing to the greater good in society. Our single largest contribution is to continue doing what we do best: discover, develop, manufacture and provide access to innovative medicines that treat serious illnesses like cancer and cardiovascular disease. 

However, we’re also focused on making a positive impact in other ways, such as expanding the reach of our science education programs, which have already served more than 7 million students globally; reducing the environmental footprint of our business, which includes 30% reductions in both water consumption and carbon emissions since 2007; giving back to the communities where we live and work; and fostering a diverse, inclusive and safe work environment for our people.
