Dogs Trust donates to ADCH Coronavirus Emergency Fund
I am incredibly proud that Dogs Trust is contributing to and working alongside other charities and partners to be part of the ADCH (Association of Dog and Cat Homes) Emergency Fund providing grants for animal rescue groups in desperate need of financial support. Like all charities, the animal welfare sector is feeling the unintended consequences of lockdown with the very real threat of many organisations having to close their doors due to lack of funds.
The full impact of this crisis on our services is yet to be felt, but rescue centres will undoubtedly come under increased strain in the coming months, particularly if some others have to close. With this threat to animal welfare it has never been more important for us to join forces to safeguard our work helping the nation’s pets and their owners. All charities are feeling the pressure of the Coronavirus crisis and we are no exception as we have suspended many of our fundraising activities. So, we could not be more grateful to everyone who continues to support our work.

4 年Having seen at first hand via my dissertation, the unpublicised help the Dogs Trust already give to numerous other animal charities, such continued initiatives are very commendable.
