Dogs Are Good For People

Dogs are good for people,

of that you can be sure.

So when you know,

?you’re feeling low,

a puppy is the cure.

Or maybe some huge Rescue Dog,

to keep you safe at night,

and lay its head upon your bed,

when you are filled with fright.

Perhaps you like the little dogs,

that run around all day,

they yip and yap then take a nap,

exhausted from their play.

We really don’t deserve them,

our furry happy friends.

Their love is unconditional,

and lasts until the end.

Dogs listen very closely,

to everything we say,

and yet they keep our secrets,

forever and a day.
