If it doesn't help you do your job - what is the point?

As we have said in the first video of the series, we are going to run a course of very quick presentations to help our potential customers get a good overview of our capabilities, and what we feel we do that’s unique and better or different from our competitors.

Now in our future presentations, we will speak about specific functionality. But there is one overarching point that we would like to inform you about. Please, watch the video (subtitles available) or continue reading the article below - they both give similar information.

So, the overarching point is - while there are many ALM systems out there and some have more or less functionality: some cover liquidity, some cover a broader range of analysis (e.g. IFRS 9, etc.), but one overarching point really is – how easy it is to use the system.

And one thing we have noticed is – not all systems are the same in terms of:

• How much effort is required in getting them up and running in the first place.
• How much effort is required in terms of getting the data into them.
• But more importantly, really, is – how easy it is to get the information out in a useful way.

And that is one key point where we feel we are quite strong.

We have:

1. Pre-configurations for fast starts,
2. Ability to make the calculations we produce easy to understand,
3. And these results are presented in a way that supports decision-making.

And that is a key differentiator.

When you’re looking at systems, you need to know that not only they are functionally rich, but they allow you to actually make use of the calculations and analysis performed.

So whatever piece of software you buy – it could be the best software in the world – but if it actually doesn’t help you do your job, you know, what is the point?

So, do stay with us for future presentations. But before we go into these detailed videos, we just wanted to make this point. It’s easy to use our system, and it’s easy to use the results. It’s intuitive, and it helps you in your decision-making processes.
