Does your IT setup look like this?
MF Telecom Services
Helping businesses choose the best phone systems, broadband and managed IT support for a flexible and secure workplace.
When we visit a new client that has called us to fix a fault, we often find a setup like this.
Multiple devices all plugged into extension leads, which are then plugged into other extension leads are a huge fire risk. Numerous cables tangled together make faults more likely to happen and make a fix much more time consuming.
Think about how important your IT network and phones are to your business and the cost you would incur in wasted time waiting for engineers to fix faults. If your setup looks like a bird’s nest of cables, it will be difficult to isolate the issue and rectify it.
IT and communication equipment needs to be ventilated to prevent overheating. For example, if your business broadband router gets too hot and your connection goes down, would it disrupt how you work?
We recently visited a site to tidy the installation in the picture above so it could support a new VoIP infrastructure and to decommission an old ISDN30 linked to a Siemens system. If you would like an IT setup like the picture below, give us a call today.
