Does my image below look professional?
Unfortunately, I run across these kinds of images on LinkedIn all day long.
When creating your profile image, make sure it is a high-resolution image. Images that are small or low quality will look blurred and unclear when people zoom up to see them.
You don’t want the digital effect that they put on people when they are trying to disguise their identity. This is not a good look when recruiters or potential clients are browsing your profile. This comes across as extremely unprofessional.
If a recruiter sees that your image comes across pixelated (the witness protection program look); they could think that you are someone who will cut corners and be halfhearted about the position they are hiring for. If your target audience is potential clients; they may think you will not give them the excellence they need.
LinkedIn recommends a maximum file size of 8MB.
