Does Your Office Have A Bully?
If you thought the concept of a bully died at high school graduation, think again.
Unfortunately, there are many types of aggressors in a workplace and as HR Morning states, managers are starting to notice these employees as productivity killers and legal liabilities. Yet it could be difficult for a manager to notice. After all, these kinds of employees won’t pull their antics with the boss around. Here are the biggest signs someone may be a troublemaker in the office:
- Reduced productivity from the whole team, or specific members.
- Decreased morale or loyalty.
- Inter-office bickering.
- Little comradery in the office.
If you see any of these four situations occurring regularly, you may want to closely watch your team members’ interactions with one another and try to find the source of hostility.
