From zero to hero, you need to establish a professional brand and trust with relevant counterparts.
Then, meet them in real life.
And then do business with them.
From the initial steps on LinkedIn to money in your account, it usually takes 6 to 18 months of continuous effort.
Now, why would you invest in such a tool when there are so many fast alternatives?
This is the same kind of question as:
"Why would I want a good reputation?"
Well, you don't earn it fast, and it is easy to destroy. Sometimes, it is even hard to quantify its benefits exactly.
This does not change the fact that REPUTATION is the key to success in business and career.
And your LinkedIn profile is just an online dimension of your reputation.
Thankfully here it is much easier to rely on data, set deadlines and KPI's and evaluate the data.

4 个月Well, I disagree. You say you can't expect return in 0-6 months. After COVID came and my market dried out (literally no bookings and no pipeline), I came to LinkedIn. And I revamped my income stream within 3 months. Though, I need to admit that I was working on that 16 hours a day. And it paid out. Thanks a lot, dear LinkedIn. ??
