Does Your Contracting Company Need Part 46 or 48 Training?
Mine Contracts Come With Specific Difficulties
I've been getting a lot of questions from contractors in the US who landed a mine contracting job in the US. There's a steep learning curve on MSHA regulations compared to OSHA and MSHA is a lot more eager to hand out fines.
Start Reducing The Steep Learning Curve In 2 Minutes
I always say the first step is learning if you need Part 46 or 48 training. What's that? What's the difference? I've got you covered.
I built a free tool that will tell you whether you need 46 or 48 training. Just answer a few simple questions and you'll immediately get a response.
Avoid MSHA Legalese
MSHA’s regulations are dense, vague, and generally unhelpful. I've spent way more time than I care to admit wading through MSHA's 30 CFR standards.
The health and safety topics covered in Part 46 and Part 48 can be (and usually are) very similar. The difference is in execution; who can train your company, how you can fulfill the training requirements, and the MSHA compliance regulations are very different.
Training online could save thousands of dollars in fines and days of training with a definitive answer.
