Does Vegas Pricing Influence Public Betting Perception?
In July, we wrote a short article entitled "The Curious Case of the 2015 Texas Rangers" which highlighted that this team had an 8% growth based on a 1% risk adjusted model at the MLB All Star Break.

To follow-up on that, we wanted to see how that insight played into the remainder of the MLB regular season.
The Texas Rangers finished as the most profitable team in baseball this season in terms of ROR from wagering. Alone, they finished more profitable than the combined profit from the Cubs and Blue Jays.
Vegas continued to undervalue the Rangers by offering prices that were far below their true performance level.
What are your thoughts? Does Vegas pricing lead to public perception?
Instead of How 'bout dem Cowboys, maybe it's, How 'bout dem... Rangers?
