Does Time Exist Independently of Humans

Hey, can you answer why clocks Tick Instead of Talk? Is sound connected to time? A clock's sound is embedded in our minds as two tones. Mechanical clocks have two distinct sounds because the gear mechanism strikes the gears differently.?

However, when I listen to my battery-powered clock without gears, I still hear two separate sounds going tick-tock. Do you hear your clock going tick-tock or tick-tick?

You might hear tick-tock because of your language. The expression "tick-tock" has preconditioned you to expect to hear two distinct sounds, and unless you listen more attentively, you "hear" the idea of the words rather than the sound itself.

Language can influence cognition and even perception. Whether language conditions what you hear or only what you think you hear is controversial. However, scientific evidence suggests that language influences perceptions, though the overall connection between language and perception is complicated.?

Time exists on clocks, but can time exist separately as a system like the sounds in your mind??

For example, on a table, tap the rhythm of a melody you're familiar with. The taps, though all making the same sound, will follow the tones of the melody. This is because your brain associates that rhythm with those tones. Same with a clock - since clocks have been associated with the "tick-tock" sound, your brain perceives it that way.?

Across languages, the sounds of a clock vary: tick-tock in English, tic-tac in Spanish and Italian, dī dā in Mandarin, kachi-kachi in Japanese, or ?ik-?ik in Hindi. This linguistic diversity adds a layer of wonder to our experience of time, as does the rhythmic beat of our hearts.

Does Time Exist? One Theory says it Doesn't

The perception and measurement of motion are human constructs based on the changes occurring within the universe. The rhythmic beating of your heart verifies your feeling that time must exist for you to live.?

You may ask if time didn't exist, how could our heartbeat, and how could the universe exist? Without time, we can't measure our age or our daily activities…

We need a better definition of time instead of believing that time exists to keep our hearts beating. Unfortunately, science doesn't have a definition that makes sense. Let me continue.?

Time is a concept to measure movement. We use a clock to calculate the duration, speed, or comparison of things that move. However, clocks and time are separate things.

A clock ticks at the same rate as the Earth rotates. So, any measurement using a clock is a comparison to Earth’s speed or duration of movement. This is the essence of the concept that Time is a measurement of motion.?

Now, ask yourself what part of time is fundamental. The rotation of the Earth is real, your heartbeat is real, and a clock is real, but the numbers on a clock are not fundamental. They are measurements.?

If you believe a clock shows numbers that measure time, you are misled into thinking that numbers force the Earth to rotate. Moreover, that numbers govern the motion and frequency of every physical activity. And that without these numbers, the universe could not exist. Well, that's what most believe.

It’s a common belief, and people say, "Nothing can exist without time." However, numbers are not tangible items. Time is a concept using clocks to keep track of our daily events and appointments.?

The duration of time is meaningful to us because we feel our heartbeat and see the Earth’s movement during our activities. Twenty-four hours is the daily measurement of Earth's rotation, and clocks show numbers at the same speed. The motion is tangible, and clocks display it, but time doesn’t exist independently of clocks.?

Clocks show numbers that correspond to a duration of motion. It’s impossible to measure time itself because time is already a number converted from the duration of a movement.?

This duration varies from one action to another, and a clock can measure the duration. The duration measurement is called Time, but you can’t measure Time itself. You can only measure durations of motion.

Clocks are necessary tools to keep our lives organized. Imagine trying to live without knowing the time.?

However, it's also important to realize that time doesn't cause anything to happen. The world spins, electrons spin around atoms, things move, and light travels without using time.?

Our reality consists of forces causing motion, not time. We get older by the number of trips around the sun. Since time is a measurement of motion, how can time exist independently??

Everything happens because of motion. Your beating heart works through muscles and electric signals, and a clock works by its mechanism, which is powered by a battery or springs.?

We are misled by our subjective experience of living on a rock that rotates almost at the same speed as our heartbeats. We live in Earth's motion, hear sounds that don't exist, and determine reality through our five senses.?

However, we can not physically experience concepts, numbers, measurements, imagination, intuition, or time. We look at clocks and use our minds to convert the clock's numbers into the time. So, clocks are physical tools, but a clock's numbers are measurements mentally converted into time.?

Even though we convert a clock's numbers into time, we still insist that Time exists fundamentally without clocks. I refer to this as a "strange mental delusion"- a belief that time is a fundamental aspect of the universe, independent of our measurements. We have this delusion because we experience the seemingly daily movement of the sun, which we interpret as the passage of time.?

We still think that motion can not happen without Time. Time, as we know it, exists, however… Let's awaken from this hypnotic delusion and know that your heart beats and the world spins even if time doesn't exist.?

Everything moves by whatever force causes the motion, while clocks measure the motion details into time. But Time itself doesn't exist without clocks. Do you struggle against knowledge that goes against your mind's preconceived ideas??

Have a moment of time and be aware of your heart, silently soothing your mind to the realization that Time has fooled us with its delusional magic. If no one hears a clock ticking, does it make a noise?
