Does This Still Suit Me?

I’ve run my business for 7.5 years.
When I started my market research company, what I needed as a one-woman band was very different from what we need now as 10+ full-time, part-time, freelance and fractional team members. We had to audit what was working for us, and what was not. For example,
? Project tracking had to move from Google Sheets to a much more sophisticated and customized software to keep up with all of our deliverables.
? The survey software license has gone up 7 fold as additional features and functionalities were needed to support both the growth of and the complexity of the projects we manage.
? Invoicing processes for a large team needed to be systematized as did other areas of the business: proposal processes, project-kick offs, fulfillments, etc.?
What worked for me years ago doesn’t work for me now. What I had in place - sometimes for years, was no longer suiting the company that we turned in to.
And I’ve been thinking about how this applies to our lives personally too.
I've been thinking about how easily we can put blinders on, go through our day-to-day, and not ask ourselves a very important question about many areas of our lives:

Is this still suiting me?
(I’m assuming that if it’s in my life it did at some point, but even that likely deserves a confirmation).
Here are a few areas where you can ask yourself - “Is this still suiting me?”
Putting in the practice of regularly asking yourself "Is this still suiting me?" can be a great way to start living a more intentional, fulfilling life.??And all it requires is a journal and a pen.
What's no longer suiting you?
What might you have to let go of or change?
Absolutely agree! Recognizing when to let go can propel growth. As Heraclitus might say - the only constant is change. It's essential to adapt and stay true to ourselves ??? #IntentionalLiving

7 个月I love these concise questions that are so important. A personal inventory of the different areas of our life to dig in and see what still fits and what doesn't. Such wise words. What are a couple of shifts you have made based on these questions that you would want to highlight for us?
