Does Parachuting with a Sewing Machine Work? WHY or Why Not?
Saw this fabulous TV commercial last night. Made me actually LOL when the second woman shows up saying "I'm here about the sewing machine".
First woman provides good example of Robert Collier's "entering the conversation going on in the prospect's mind". In fact, I think the guy on her back riding tandem probably represents the conversation going on in the sewing machine owner's mind.
Just when you think Kijiji and Craigslist have cornered the market previously occupied by the local Buy and Sell magazines, LetGo steps into the spotlight with this cool commercial (there are more) that has almost a million views online (and more on TV).
Does this commercial work?
Sure got my attention last night in the blink of an eye before I left the room to heat up the lentil soup before Survivor resumed.
And it made enough of an impression on me that I looked it up online today.
AND I did log on to look for a dresser for my daughter.

8 年Whole campaign is really inventive, memorable, entertaining, unexpected — everything you'd want in great TV to create awareness for a new brand competing in established online selling territory (CraigsList, Ebay, Amazon, etc.).

8 年I think this ad works very well. It's fun, makes you laugh and is certainly memorable as you use the line - time to let go - which most of us understand, so it's easy to look up.

8 年I like their commercials. They have some funny and weird ones. But it works for me because I too wanted to go an check them out.
Doesn't seen like an efficient way to get stitched up should you get cut when landing. <G>
