The fine-structure constant α\alphaα is a fundamental physical constant that quantifies the strength of the electromagnetic interaction. It is approximately equal to 1/1371/1371/137. In this article, we explore whether the Optimal Light Quantum Energy Matrix (OLQEM) framework inherently predicts this value. Using OLQEM’s fractal spacetime corrections and recursive stabilization mechanisms, we derive the electromagnetic coupling under the framework and verify if it aligns with the experimentally observed value of α\alphaα.
