Does the Nation Want to Know?

Does the Nation Want to Know?

Bathtub it was, they said!! Alcohol traces, did I hear? Hydroxyl dosages for weight loss? Nephew's wedding in Ras Al Khaimah? 2230 hrs - she ordered for water? What's her daughters' name again - Jahnavi and Khushi? Oh ,did they spell Drowning wrong?

Personal space ? Private grief ? Have we forgotten that the family is best left alone to mourn the dead and the society best left to offer condolences on an illustrious career cut short in one stroke by fate? That forensic experts should be allowed to do their job.

#SreedeviDeathMystery disgusts me - We the People are no less than Vultures, who tear away the flesh of the dead!! There is almost a vicarious pleasure, as sensational newsbreak after newsbreak comes alive on our screens, as we rub our palms in glee. How we like our idols to be razed to the ground!!

Time for Current Affairs of a different kind.

Quiz time- Do the names Wing Commander Vats, Major Kumud Dogra and Captain Kapil Kundu ring a bell?

WingCo Vats lost his life in an IAF plane crash on 15 Feb 2018. Yes, around ten days back. His wife Maj Kumud Dogra attended his funeral in ceremonial uniform carrying her 5 day old newborn cradled in her arms. They lived for you and he died for you.

Ditto, Captain Kundu was killed in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district along with three other soldiers - riflemen Ramavatar, 28, Subham Singh, 22, and Havilder Roshan Lal, 42, when they fell to unalerted and unprovoked firing from Pakistan's anti tank guided missiles, which hit their bunker. This was 04 Feb 2018.

I am sure you didn't know that!!

We love her red wine and we love her bathtub!!

National Character? Who'z that!!

It seems media occupied our life, thinking and everything we saw only what they wanted to show and they are interested in what raises TRP its not only their fault as we also interested in others personal life especially celebraties so we also hv look in ourselves before criticing others.

We (scientists) & our most faithful soldiers die very cheaply, people hesitate to shed their tears . I know that tears are very precious but should be shed for those who live & die for country. Bollywood actress does not deserve these tears. Professor Yash pal who use to teach us science in layman's language in 1990s on TV died in 2017 without even single mention. Only Hindustan times mentioned about his death. Why? We (Indians) respect politicians, businessman, cricketer & bollywood stars etc because these people are generally wealthy & powerful, but we miserably fail to respect those strive throughout their life to make country peaceful & powerful. Why? It is soldier who make peaceful & secure nation. It is scientists who make powerful nation.

Very precise answer to the Indian state of affairs. We are poor strategic thinkers.
