It Does NOT Matter Who Likes You As Long As....

A message from God to you. It does NOT matter who likes you as long as you never forget how much God loves you. If I may, please allow me to be transparent & honest with you. I used to care, far too much, about what other people thought, and about what they said. It didn't matter whether it was to, and/or about me. If someone didn't like me, if they were critical of me, or hated on me for less of a reason, I must admit, such things "used to" hurt me to the core. Now, before you jump to any conclusions, please pay particular attention to the phrase - I USED TO CARE! Now times have changed. Things are different now. I'm a bit older, and so much wiser. 

Though I'd prefer to be liked by everyone, I don't give a **** what people say, or think about me and you shouldn't either. Everybody has an opinion.

Sure, I'd like for people to be in my corner. Having lots of friends and fans is a wonderful thing. But here's the problem with that. If you get caught up in appeasing people, you're not focused on what is most important, perfecting your gifts and pleasing God. Never will you make everybody like you. Even Jesus couldn't do that. Besides, no one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other , or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. 

This is your season to move forward. From this moment forth, don't look back. The folk from your past are just that, in your past. Keep your eye on the prize. God's purpose for keeping them around was quite different from yours. Don't confuse your spectators with your supporters. Your ex-Lovers, old associates, sidekicks, play relatives and even some of your current amigos have been left in your life for a divine reason. They're still there only to bear witness to what God is doing in, with and through you.
