Congratulations to our June FS Way Employee of the Month, Sam Conery! Sam is the energy sales manager for upper Michigan, Green Bay and Oconto Falls. When asked what FS Way means to him, he said, "Just like the magnet says "it's not a job, it's a lifestyle". If we all come to work every day and take that extra step to check on someone in need, or to make sure someone is ok, we all do better for each other and our customers. That's what the FS Way is all about! We should care and treat others just like they are family." We also learned that Sam is a singer and was accepted into the Young Americans when he was a senior in high school. So, when you congratulate him, ask him for a song! Congratulations, Sam! #FSWay

Congratulations to our February FS Way Employee of the Month, Josef Becker! Josef was nominated for his excellence in representing Insight FS at the Raven Top Gun Training in South Dakota. At that training, he showcased his expertise during hands-on training and helped answer technical questions around technology he uses in the field. When asked about his background and goals, he had this to say, "I am one of 13 and grew up on the family fruit/veggie farm in Deforest. Growing up, I spent my spring, summers, and fall growing and caring for all kinds of produce for our customers. My parents always stressed the importance of doing a job the right way and not rushing it, and in turn that leads to a higher quality product that we offering our customers and in turn that helps them offer a better product to their customers. I try to carry this same spirit at Insight FS, whether I'm spraying or spreading, dumping grain, or helping a customer load product on their truck, etc. The FS Way principles push us to put our best foot for our customers who we are ultimately here to help. My favorite part of my job at Insight is being able to help our customers succeed whether I'm taking the extra time to spray field edges good or staying late to dry corn in the fall. The FS Way pushes us all to constantly try our hardest and recognizes those efforts which can be a rewarding feeling in a sometimes stressful work environment." Bravo to Josef for his efforts and expertise!

Congratulations to our FS Way Employee of the Month for November, Nathan Schmidt! Nathan has 22 years of experience on the Insight FS energy team and his dedication to his customers and colleagues is obvious when you get to know him. When asked what FS Way means to him, he said, "I was always taught to treat others as I would like to be treated. I feel like I do what I can to apply that to our customers and my coworkers. I want to go above and beyond making sure that even the day-to-day encounters are memorable. I feel like it’s worth doing the extras to earn our customers trust so they don’t have to go looking elsewhere." Nathan grew up in the Antigo area raising cattle with his dad and grandpa. Now he raises cattle with his wife, son and daughter. When Nathan isn't working or raising cattle, his summer highlight is County Fair.
