Does the heating sector need disruption?
I just came across the "Hinterland of things" an event taking place close to the middle of no-where: in Bielefeld a city not very well known, if it was not for the major brands originating in the area: Dr. Oetker, Bertelsmann, Miele, Claas, Schüco ...
"Hinterland of things" does look at SME founders and three of the presentations I saw addressed innovations in buildings and even went so far to stress the need for disruption in the heating sector.
If you speak German, enjoy:
Max Viessmann on the transformation of Viessmann - a global enterprise with 12 000 employees.
Philipp Pausder on the founding of Thermondo - a company that has mainstreamed the replacement process for boilers and will start to market also heat pumps as replacement option for boilers (you can imagine I like that).
