How Checkr Used Its Core Product Page To Win 10K+ Users?

Checkr is a leader in the background check software category, with a $4.6 billion valuation and thousands of users, including big names like Netflix, Instacart, and Uber.?

Many users on G2 and other review sites rate the platform as one of the easiest-to-use platforms when it comes to running employee background checks.??

I was intrigued by Checkr’s achievements, so I set out to explore the company’s website to see what it’s doing differently in terms of its marketing strategy. One thing that stood out to me was its core product page, which is structured as an acquisition channel that generates $53,000 worth of traffic every month.?

B2B MARKETING?

Does Everyone Need To Be an Entrepreneur?

No, not everyone needs to be an entrepreneur, but everyone does need to be an owner.?

Being an owner of something, whether it be a business or a project, gives a sense of responsibility and pride. It lets you have a stake in your work and feel invested in its success. It also encourages creativity and innovation, as owners are often more willing to take risks and think outside the box. So, even though you don’t have to be an entrepreneur, you should cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset.?

Ross Simmonds jumped into the LinkedIn Nano Tips series to share tips on how to build this type of mindset. In this course, he explains the differences between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset, the importance of time management, the pitfalls of seeking validation from others, the value of strategic sacrifice, and more.

If you are interested in building this mindset and setting yourself up for business or career success, check out and take the full course here.

?? What’s the Latest in B2B SaaS This Week?

?? After enabling remote work, Zoom is now requesting employees who reside within a 50-mile radius of its offices to work onsite for two days a week.

?? WeWork reported a net loss of $397 million despite earning revenue of $844 million. This decline in revenue is due to a steady decrease in demand for its co-working spaces.

?? Roper Technologies has acquired Syntellis Performance Solutions, a top provider of cloud-based performance management and data solutions, for a net price of $1.25 billion.

?? Rubrik, a company specializing in Zero Trust Data Security?, is acquiring Laminar, a top-tier platform for data security posture management (DSPM), for an undisclosed amount.

?? This Week’s Brain Food

Setting boundaries at work is really important for your well-being. It helps you maintain a good balance between your job and personal life. This prevents burnout, helps you focus better, and gives you time to relax and enjoy things outside of work.?

Here are some tips to help you establish some healthy boundaries while being productive:

  • Decide when you want to start and finish your workday. Sharing these hours with your colleagues sets clear expectations.
  • Allocate specific times for breaks to recharge. This ensures you don’t keep working without taking some time to rest.
  • Turn off work notifications outside of work hours. This way, you won’t feel pressured to work all the time.
  • Plan your tasks and stick to your plan. Avoid taking on last-minute tasks that might disrupt your personal time.
  • Politely say no to extra work if it interferes with existing timelines.
  • Designate a specific area for work. Leaving this space after work mentally separates work from your personal time.
  • Check your work emails only during your work hours to prevent constant interruptions.
  • Let your colleagues and supervisors know about your boundaries. This helps them understand when you’re available and when you’re not.
  • Be open to adjusting your boundaries when needed while still ensuring you maintain a healthy balance.

This was super insightful for me Ross Not everyone needs to be an entrepreneur but everyone needs to be an owner. Being an owner fosters a sense of accountability, pride, and motivation to see things through to success. I also loved the brain food section that spoke about setting boundaries. Thanks for always delivering value

"Everyone does need to be an owner.. It lets you have a stake in your work and feel invested in its success. It also encourages creativity and innovation, as owners are often more willing to take risks and think outside the box." Say it louder for the people in the back! I couldn't agree more.
