Does the Data Reflect How We’re Adapting to COVID-19?
If there’s one aspect of pre-COVID work life that I truly miss it’s being in the office with my team. Outside of work, I miss extended family gatherings and live events like Jazz games and concerts.
I know I’m not alone, and I’m highly aware that I have the better end of the stick when it comes to this crisis. My family is healthy, and thanks to technology, it is easy to alter the way we stay connected. And on the work front, our business was inherently built for this remote-style environment.
The latest edition of Data Never Sleeps—Domo’s annual look at online user behavior through the data generated and consumed every minute across high-traffic platforms and popular apps—underscores how we all are adapting in this new work-and-stay-at-home era.
Not surprisingly, video conferencing and video chat platforms have exploded, and online entertainment is the new way we are keeping ourselves busy in place of going out to movies and ball games.
So, while this crisis is nothing any of us wanted, it has shown us what people are capable of. We can adapt, and even in the face of something as disruptive as a global pandemic, we can find ways to keep moving forward. But it sure will be nice when we’re all able to do it from the same room again.

4 年You guys broke the web with it! Tons of sharing! Next one, you probably should add a slice saying: how many times our data was shared.. pretty sure it multiplied by thousand x's vs the 1st one.. ;o)
