Just catching up on season 12 of Doctor Who and whaddayaknow, there's this in episode 1:
Hospital doctor to Graham O'Brien:
"Sign on there.
Tick all the boxes - data protection."
Valid consent under GDPR for health data, anyone?
If Chris Chibnall or any other writers of Doctor Who would like a data protection law consultant, I'm game!
(Mind you, there's probably scope for an IP (intellectual property) law consultant too. Another episode mentions things being "copyright" the Doctor - not patents, not design rights...?)
