*Immigration Intake* Helping immigration attorneys save time and headache while helping more immigrants get what they really want.
In continuation with the Docketwise tutorial series, I want to walk you through the process of creating custom attributes, or fields, on the Docketwise.?
Having custom fields will help you track specific information to your firm so you can more easily organize your case matters.?
In order to do this go to Settings, located at the bottom of the left-side menu.
Under settings, go to Custom Attributes.
Here you can add any attributes, or fields, that are relevant to your firm. One we use often for our clients is “Case Filed?” to separate the cases that have been filed, from those that haven’t.
When you are creating your custom attribute you can choose the question type: Text, Number, Date, Boolean, List, or Expiry Date.?
You can apply the custom attributes to either Matters or to Contacts. Your final product should look something like this.
Once you have done this, you can go to your matters, or contacts, and filter them based on this new field.
In this case, since we applied it to matters we will go to the Matters section on the left-side menu.
Under your Matters, choose “Filter”.
Under “Filter’ choose “Filter by Attributes”.
And select the Attribute you want to have filtered! In this example, it will be “Case Filed?”
