Want to Boost Your Social Media Marketing in the Same Time You Spend Chasing Your Agency?
Let’s face it—waiting for a social media marketing agency to “work their magic” feels like watching paint dry. You’re probably already dealing with endless back-and-forth emails and waiting for approvals. The kicker? You could've done the same thing in less time.
Forget all that. You’ve got better things to do, and I’m going to show you how to build, schedule, and run your social media strategy in the same amount of time it takes to respond to one of those agency status updates. And here’s the kicker: you only need to spend one hour per week and 15 minutes a day doing it.
Follow these 5 steps, and by the end of it, you’ll have a month’s worth of content locked, loaded, and ready to go.
1) Nail the Visuals
Go on Canva—seriously, it’s your best friend. Choose a graphic that aligns with your brand. Keep it simple, bold, and laser-focused on the problem your customers face. This is not the time to overthink. Your graphic should have space for one powerful sentiment—something that’s going to stop someone mid-scroll and think, “Oh, I need this.”
Got your graphic? Perfect. Now, open up ChatGPT and ask it for 30 quotes that align with that sentiment. Pick an influential thought leader that resonates with your audience to set the tone—maybe it’s Elon Musk, Gary Vee, or Simon Sinek. Now you’ve got a month’s worth of killer quotes, aligned with your brand, ready to roll.
2) Get Your Platforms in Order
If you haven’t already, set up a Facebook and Instagram page for your brand. Head over to the Meta Business Panel (don’t worry, it’s easier than it sounds), connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts, and check out the scheduling tool. You’re going to be spending a lot of time here making your life easier.
3) Bulk Update in Canva
Remember those 30 quotes? Take them back to Canva and do a bulk update. You’ll need to format them into an Excel or CSV file. You can knock this out in 10 minutes flat—Canva’s bulk creation tool is a lifesaver. Want to spice up your Instagram feed? Split those quotes into three different graphics and set them up for a column style feed. Facebook doesn’t care as much, but Instagram will pop.

4) Schedule Like a Pro
Jump back into the Meta Business Panel and head to the scheduler. Upload your freshly created graphics and schedule them out for the next 30 days. Seriously, this should only take you about 30 minutes. If you’re feeling ambitious, you can add a custom post body or—if you’re really pressed for time—just ask ChatGPT to create a post that complements your image. One-click for both Facebook and Instagram posts, and you’re done.
5) Master Engagement
Here’s where the 15 minutes a day comes into play. Choose 9 hashtags that are relevant to your industry or target audience. You can figure this out by snooping on your competitors and seeing what they use. Make sure they’re active hashtags—you want at least 100k uses for traction.
Spend 15 minutes each morning diving into those hashtags and commenting on the top 9 posts. That’s it. No need to overcomplicate it. Your goal here is to leave a little breadcrumb trail for your customers to follow back to your profile.
Consistency is King
Do this consistently for a month, and you’ll notice something incredible. Without paying a single dollar to an agency, your brand will start to attract the right audience. That’s the law of attraction at work.
