Do your research; especially when it comes to history

Respectfully, I’m learning that an audience base, or followers, can be attractive, and lucrative, for advertisers. Being a self-employed entrepreneur, and working to build passive income, I am becoming more aware that a sustainable customer base is everything in business, and ultimately commerce. I say this to say that I, nor anyone else, should take anything at face value because we may get deceived, and through consistent deception, that deception may become the new standard or normalcy. If the information you are aware of does not fit the mold of others, you may be ostracized, scrutinized, or insulted.?
History is essential, and imagery is important, but how that history and imagery are presented is equally important. I’m speaking broadly here because I want this message to tie into commerce, culture, and civics at the minimum.?Respectfully, anything mainstream I am presented with, I work to do my homework. I’m not always right, and I don’t know everything, so my mindset is always to be a student of information. I then fact-check what I’ve learned through as many credible sources as possible.

This mindset not only gives an individual peace of mind, and clarity, but this mindset helps you be seen as an analyst. Over time people may come to you for advice. When I receive information, I don’t discuss it until someone talks to me about it. This may be a wrong approach, but I feel it’s everyone’s duty to study and become more conscientious in their walk of life, not only for themself but for their family, neighbors, and so on.?
It makes no sense to argue, or debate, with someone who is not aware. For all I know, I may not be aware. The best thing one can do is have patience for yourself, and others. One must strive to know when to walk away from a debate in love, and honor, to yourself and the receiver. Either way, not everything is what it seems and it’s going to boil down to you making the diligent effort to retrieve information during this Information Age and act accordingly.
