Do your best

Do your very best and then rest. Do what you have to do. Give it your all. Stay the course no matter how long it takes you. Enjoy the process. Life is a journey, there’s no destination. Do the best you can, with what you can, while you can, and leave the rest to God. Don’t judge yourself harshly once you do your part. At the end of the day, promotion comes from God (Psalm 75:6-7).
Single? Do what you must for your self-development. Invest in yourself. Go for further studies if need be. Groom optimally and socialize decently. Trust God for your life partner and relax. For the time being, enjoy your own company with no apologies. No one but God knows what the future holds for you. And no one else knows what you’ve been through to be where you are. Enjoy your NOW. Tomorrow is a hope.
Married? Play your role in marriage par excellence. Invest through every legal, professional and affordable means possible. Read godly self-help books. Attend sound seminars together. Watch ethical videos as a couple. Pray for your marriage. Leave the rest to God. Our best is all we can do. Perfection is impossible; just strive to do your best. Doing your best means never stop trying. Never stop doing your best because someone does not appreciate. If someone does not appreciate your best, it is their problem.
But it is not enough to say you’ve done your best, you must first know what the best is, and then do your best. Have an open conversation with those close to you about the steps you’ve taken to do your best. Refuse to be a complainer. Accept feedback. Their feedback will help you improve on your current best. Refuse to be average. Keep pushing your limits. Accept your failures. Learn to receive correction.
Have a great week! Won’t you?
